Hello, My name is Maribel Rosel. I'm an artist that grew up in Spain and moved to Cape Cod, USA, eight years ago. I live here with my husband and my two beautiful kids. When I moved I started  a small kids clothing company called Jolly Dragons, where I designed motifs for t-shirts and onesies. With this experience the brand evolved naturally to a surface pattern design brand after a few years. 

My style can be described as feminine and playful with childhood reminiscences. I  like to think that my style can be liked by kids and adults alike. I want to show that there is always a bright side and beauty everywhere.

 Part of my inspiration are daily life objects, childhood memories, animals and nature in general. My cat "Changus", is my muse!. Although most of my work is made digitally in Illustrator, my patterns have a hand made imperfect drawing look using a lot of hand made textures.

I would love to see my art and patterns in fabric and also in daily objects as mugs, wrapping paper and stationary. 

When I'm not creating art, you can find me cooking, my second passion, hiking with my family, or enjoying korean series. 

All my artwork is available for licensing and I'm open to collaborations.
